For registration and more details for the Charity Walk or the Triathlon, go to http://pittsburghtriathlon.com/ First Annual 5K Charity Walk Saturday, July 19, 2008 The North Shore and the Three Rivers Heritage Trail come alive with proceeds benefitting the YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh and Activate Pittsburgh initiatives to educate and fight against obesity and to the Friends of the Riverfront for continued stewardship and development of the Three Rivers Heritage Trail. Eleventh Annual Triathlon & Adventure Race Sunday, July 20, 2008 Olympic distance Triathlon (swim-bike-run) and sprint distance Adventure Race (kayak-bike-run) will be held on the North Shore Riverfront Park. The Olympic distance Triathlon is the Pennsylvania Qualifying Race for the 2008 Best of the U.S. Amateur Triathlete Competition. Proceeds benefit Friends of the Riverfront.
